Amputee Coalition of America Selected to Participate in 2010 Combined Federal Campaign  


 Knoxville, Tennessee, September 30, 2010 – Joining 300 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) campaigns across the country and overseas, the Amputee Coalition of America has been selected to participate in the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign. Listed under the Health and Medical Research Charities of America Federation, the Amputee Coalition’s CFC number is #98848.

“As the leading organization representing those with limb loss, the Amputee Coalition of America is honored to join the CFC campaign, which raises millions of dollars each year for nonprofit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world,” said Kendra Calhoun, president & CEO of the Amputee Coalition of America.

The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee-focused, cost-efficient and effective in providing federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

Pledges may be made by federal civilian, postal and military donors from September 1 to December 15, 2010.
