Single Shoes for Amputees

Looking at my posts, I notice that the issue of 'shoes for amputees' has come up more than once.Though I may be at risk for seeming like a shoe fanatic (maybe I am), I have another post on this issue.
Today I was asked a great question by a person who presents with unilateral above knee amputation, without the use of a prosthesis. "Where can we get single shoes?" Great question.
Many stores & online sites offer this service.. the sale of single shoes. The Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) has a great link for this:

I didn't use a prosthesis for most of my college career. I sure wish I had known about these resources back then!
