Hallux Valgus Splint

Hallux valgus deformity or bunions can be treated in several fashions.  One design that can be worn in shoes can help to redistribute the pressure along the arch and ball of the foot and control the separation of the bones.  The splint will help support your foot and reduce the tendency toward hallux valgus formation.

This splint properly aligns your toe(s), helping relieve pain and pressure A soft elasticized cotton band fits securely around the foot behind the metatarsal heads.

The nighttime splint is used nocturnally and, while you sleep, tight tendons and toe muscles stretch. The plastic brace straps your toe in position, while soft foam soothes the tender area. Adjust the pad to provide the most protection, and secure in place with a hook-and-loop closure.

These splints are not recommended for those with diabetes or poor circulation.
