PrimeFare East Regional Scientific Symposium Brings Expanded CPed Course to Nashville
The PrimeCare O&P Network brings a 2009 curriculum of educational offerings to Nashville June 5-6, including an expanded schedule of CPed classes that serves up three additional hours of continuing education credits, for a total of 15 hours. The course list includes a six-session series focusing on pedorthic management of the diabetic foot.
The classes provide a timely solution in light of the recent CMS ruling that pedorthists and pedorthic facilities must satisfy mandatory accreditation requirements prior to September 31, 2009.
Other opportunely-scheduled offerings include an i-Limb® prosthetic hand practitioner training certification course, and an administrative/management session focusing on the new CMS surety bond requirement and its potential effect on O&P practitioners, their companies, and the industry.
In addition to the 15-hour CPED track, PrimeFare’s Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Administrative/Management curriculums each offer a total of 12 hours of CEU credits.
PrimeFare East Regional Scientific Symposium is made possible by the support of O&P industry sponsors, including Ohio Willow Wood; Allard USA; OSSUR; Orthofeet; Becker Orthopedic; Cailor Fleming Insurance; Spinal Technology, Inc.; Lower Limb Technology, LLC; SPS; American Board for Certification; O&P Business News; Fillauer, Inc.; Orthotic & Prosthetic Billing Solutions; Strategic Marketing; Townsend; 360oandp.com; P.W.
