History
Westcoast Brace & Limb started as a family business in the 1970s. The father-and-son team of Jules and Les Bauer got started in the O&P business in Tampa in 1971, and in 1981 the company took on the name of Westcoast Brace & Limb. Les Bauer’s son Greg Bauer, C.P.O., L.P.O, currently runs the company. Greg is looking forward to continuing the family business. “It has gone from my grandfather to my father and now to me. It has always been my choice to get into the O&P business. I was always interested in business development, and I wanted to be in a business where I could work on expansion and growth and also help others.” Greg’s goals include educating the community, serving his patients and taking on the challenges of working with all the changes in the medical profession. “I look forward to being in this business for a very long time.”
