Heel Strike is Absorbed

Ingenious design enables a smooth transition from heel strike to foot flat through the power of a dynamic heel. A uniquely engineered pyramid bolstered by an integrated elastomer wedge gives the user an easy rollover without sacrificing energy return. The unique concept won the reddot design award in 2005.

The Axtion pairs especially well with patients who want to tackle whatever life offers – from outdoor adventures through a neighborhood pickup game of basketball. The 1E56 Axtion® is suitable for people with moderate to very high Mobility Grades 3 and 4* who have transtibial amputation, knee disarticulation, transfemoral amputation, or hip disarticulation.
